Gennady Andreyevich Sapunov brought into the world on December 5, 1938 and kicked the bucket on August 30, 2023 was a Russian Greco-Roman grappler.
He contended in the 1968 Olympics and won two gold and a silver decoration at the World Wrestling Titles.
From 1979 to 1990 he was the mentor for the Soviet Greco-Roman wrestling crew.
Sapunov kicked the bucket on 30 August 2023, at 84 years old.
