Scripture: Psalm 91:9-13 (NIV)
“He who says, ‘The Lord is my refuge,’ and makes the Most High his dwelling, no harm will befall him, no disaster will come near his tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.”
Oh Lord, my refuge and strength,
I come before You in awe and reverence,
Acknowledging that You alone are my dwelling place,
My sanctuary, and my fortress.
In the face of trials and tribulations, I declare,
“The Lord is my refuge, my safe haven, and my shield.”
With unwavering faith, I hold on to Your promises,
Knowing that in You, no harm can befall me,
And no disaster can come near my dwelling.
Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your divine protection,
For the angels You have assigned to watch over me.
I pray that You will command them concerning me,
To guard and guide me in all my ways.
Lift me up, O Lord, in the palms of Your mighty hands,
So that I will not stumble or fall,
Shield me from every stumbling block and obstacle,
And protect me from the schemes of the enemy.
Grant me the strength to tread upon the lion and the cobra,
To trample over the great lion and the serpent,
For You have given me authority and power,
Through the name of Jesus Christ, my Savior.
In times of danger and uncertainty, I will not fear,
For I know that You are with me, leading the way.
Your love and faithfulness are my shield and armor,
And Your promises are my source of hope and courage.
Thank You, Lord, for Your unwavering protection,
For Your constant presence in my life.
May I always find solace and security in You,
And may Your name be glorified forevermore.
