Scripture: Psalm 91:5-6 (NIV)
“You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.”
Gracious Father, my Rock and my Refuge,
I come before You in awe of Your mighty power.
You are the One who shields and protects me,
And in Your presence, I find perfect peace.
In a world filled with uncertainty and fear,
I take solace in Your unchanging love.
I thank You, Lord, for the promise You have given,
That I need not fear the terrors of the night or the dangers of the day.
In the darkness that surrounds me, I trust in Your light,
For You are the beacon that guides my way.
I place my complete faith in Your unfailing protection,
Knowing that no weapon formed against me shall prosper.
Though pestilence may stalk in the shadows,
And plagues may threaten to consume,
I rest assured in Your sovereign authority,
For You hold all things in Your hands.
Lord, strengthen my heart and calm my soul,
That I may not be overtaken by anxiety or despair.
Fill me with the assurance of Your presence,
And let Your peace guard my mind and spirit.
Grant me discernment and wisdom, O Lord,
To navigate through the challenges that lie ahead.
Lead me on paths of righteousness and truth,
And shield me from every harm and danger.
Thank You, Heavenly Father, for Your steadfast love,
For being my refuge in times of trouble.
Help me to keep my eyes fixed on You,
And to walk in the confidence of Your divine protection.
In the name of Jesus, the name above all names,
I pray and believe,
Amen.
