Rudy Vaty (born November 21, 1988) is a French professional basketball player. He currently plays for Orléans Loiret Basket of the LNB Pro A.

Vaty was born in Les Abymes, Guadeloupe. He began playing basketball at the age of 11. In 2002, he joined Point-à-Pitre’s basketball team. In 2003, he moved to Metropolitan France and joined Centre Fédéral de Basket-ball. In 2006, he joined Pau-Orthez.

Vaty played his first minutes in LNB Pro A in the 2007–08 season with Pau-Lacq-Orthez. He won a bronze medal with the French U-19 team at the 2007 FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup in Serbia. In 2009, he was shortlisted for the French national team, but did not make the final cut.

Vaty entered his name in the 2009 NBA draft, but was not selected. That summer, he signed with Orléans Loiret Basket. He once again entered his name into the 2010 NBA draft, but was also not selected.

Ludovic Vaty passed away on September 1, 2023 due to a heart attack. He was 34 years old.
