Narendra Chandra Debbarma (28 August 1942 – 1 January 2023) was a prominent Indian politician hailing from the state of Tripura. He held significant positions within his political career and made a notable impact on the region.

Political Career

Narendra Chandra Debbarma served as the president of the Indigenous Peoples Front of Tripura and held the role of director at All India Radio, Agartala. His contributions in these roles were noteworthy, and he played a vital part in the political landscape of Tripura.

In the 2018 Tripura Legislative Assembly election, Debbarma made a strategic alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). This alliance proved to be a significant turning point, leading to their victory in 8 out of 9 seats, garnering an impressive 7.5% of the total votes cast.
